Looking for a bit of flair in your life? This week features new in-game visual effects! Lightning, Fire, Arcane, and Lifesteal are just a few of the amazing effects added this patch. We’re also including new unit and hero art! Plus 24 completely new backgrounds! We hope you find this patch captivating 🥰
- The decline match timeout penalty will now reset whenever a player enters a game

New Art 🎨
- The 5 Heroes MAI, AXEL, ADA, IRIS, and MIRA have received makeovers!
- 16 units have received makeovers as well. Try to guess which ones! Look at the cute little Fun Guy at the end 😚
- Last but not least, 24 backgrounds have been completely redesigned! These will be used as backgrounds for all the different units within the game! The expansive world of SkyWeaver grows evermore.
Fewer mechanical changes this week. Features some cute art upgrades. Some non-functional changes omitted.
Arcadeum Mask (110)
Inspire Spell: Draw a spell onto this unit. ➞
Inspire Spell: Conjure a spell onto this unit. Give it -1 cost.
Trying a conjure version (with bonus cost reduction) so it does less fatigue damage in long games. Hoping conjure is more fun thank risking important spells in your deck.
Rite Knight (658)
The end of another era. Our most explosive starts tend to begin with Rite Knight, and the winrate data has been strong. The cost bump should be a nerf overall, despite +1pow and lifesteal.
Frigid Blizzard (83)
If you have no mana, give enemy units Frozen. Do 2 Damage to each unit. ➞

Bumped back to an older version that better filled the role at a cheaper cost.
Dual Boot (465)
Draw a unit. Summon a 2/2 guard copy. Give it Dazed. ➞
Draw a unit. Summon a copy as 2/2 with Dazed and guard.
Minor tweaks this patch to how units are summoned with different attachments. Copy effects have been standardized to summon with the attachment already on - so no Vapors or Anima triggers.
Soul Forge (896)
Summon a 2/2 armor copy of your left unit in hand. Give it Lead. ➞
Summon a copy of your left unit in hand as 2/2 with Lead and armor.
Tweaked similar to Dual Boot for summon copy consistency.
Mass Confuse (134)
Each unit fights itself. Both players mulligan their spells. ➞
Each enemy fights itself.
Bumped up the curve to an expensive one-sided clear. Note that it's good against banner, too.
Give target unit Silence. Make it 0 Power. ➞
Give target unit Silence and -8 Power.
Slight nerf to power reduction.
Howl Geist (1064)
Swapping Fate for Lifesteal as another bump down in power, so it's more acceptable to kill immediately.
It's a Trap! (901)
I missed the lifesteal reward for hitting the hero, and the winrate has some room to grow.
Jar of Souls (805)
Summon your top three dead units as 1/1 with wither and Hex. Ready them. ➞

Normal summons (not copies) have been changed to consistently add attachments after, to trigger Anima and Vapors.
Puppet Master (1113)
Summon: Draw a low-cost unit into play as 2/2 with Lead and guard. ➞

Bumping back up the curve. In general, cheat summons seem to be more fair at 5c than 4c, so it's not a consistent turn two play.
Bane She (267)
Buff to low winrate.
Death: Summon Zomboid. ➞

Nerf to high winrate in Discovery, trying a small guard buff to reduce the overall stats.
Frog King (841)
Small spell buff.
Swamp Walker (88)
Stat nerf, there's consistent value here with the spell and triggering off its own death.
Carrion Crow (1074)
Play: Dust target hero's top dead unit to draw a low-cost dark spell onto this unit. ➞
Summon: Dust the top dead unit of both graves to draw a low-cost dark spell onto this unit.
Reworked to summon effect for more synergy.
Flame Volley (1058)
Rebuffed with wither to add more impact to base effect.
Anchor Drop (1084)
Has -1 cost for each water card in your grave. Do 5 Damage to target unit. ➞
Has -1 cost for each water card in your grave. Do 4 Damage to target unit.
Another nerf to free removal.
More health with nerfed spell.
Summon: Give allies Shroud. ➞

Stats tweaked to be more fragile, though better against -2pow effects.

Kill target ally unit. Summon your other top high-cost dead unit of its element. Give it Fate. ➞

Reveal buff, and moved to the prism with reveal synergy.
