This week brings 120 card changes, bot match XP for new players, improved loading screens, reduced loading times, and new time penalties for repeated offenses such as abandoning games too early. With this patch, players with ill intent might just be frozen to stone . . . for a while 🀭

Improvements ⭐

  • Experience points (XP) are now awarded in Bot & Private games until level 15 is reached
  • 5 new original SkyWeaver songs added to the game 🎼 Jump into any regular match to experience the new tracks on a random rotation
  • Faster loading times! No more β€œWaiting for opponent.” The game takes you straight into the match when it’s ready and displays a loading bar above your SkyTag! When the match is over, you’ll be sent back to the menu screen even faster than before πŸ’¨

Changes πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”§

  • Abandoning a match before either player reaches turn 6 will now result in a timeout penalty of [0, 120, 900, 3600, 3600] seconds (24h window). This should improve the quality of matches and deter bad behaviors

Additionally, a player who is AFK (Away From Keyboard) for more than 3 turns will lose the game. We recognize this is a rather extreme measure for addressing AFK players and appreciate your patience while we test out this particular approach over the coming weeks.

Rewording cheapest / most expensive to low-cost / high-cost vocabulary, and using the mechanic on more spells. Expanding some removal out of Heart. Using Glory to dust some dead cards. Animosity renamed to Anima. Some aesthetic changes omitted.

Glorious Mane - Give target unit +2/+2 and guard. Give units in your hand of the same element +1/+1.

Luna - Summon: Conjure an enemy spell onto this unit. Give it -1 cost.

Foul Stench - Do 2 Damage to non-wither units. Draw a wither card.
