It's Patch 116! As we’ve reached the kick-off for another new season of Skyweaver, we’ve got a more sizable patch for you this time around, with a larger number of changes to cards—28 to be exact! There's also a massive new questing feature with over 200 unique quests!
New Features ⭐
- Daily, weekly, and seasonal quests! Get ready to embark on an epic journey (or two) to supercharge your progression and expedite your Skypass rewards! Read more about the new questing feature here.
Improvements 🦾
- Optimized image loading: All images in the deckbuilder, market, and more, should be faster to load.
We've converted all of the images in the webapp from PNG/JPEG to WEBP—a file format that produces smaller images compared to traditional formats without losing quality. As a result, images should load faster, and take up less bandwidth and storage.
- The fancy animation when cards are cast now doesn't delay any other animations.
- Added "your Sequence wallet is open, confirm in there" notification to more pages of the menu.
- Massively improved macros and tools for sandbox mode!
- Your profile Skytag is now visible on the Home screen on mobile.
Changes ⚙️
- Home screen image now directs to the Quests system instead of Skypass.
- Added the new Quest tab to the navigation bar.
Bugfixes 🐛
- Players can no longer use the deck picker dropdown while in queue.
- Fixed the Market tab not loading while logged out.
- Shady Dealer now shows the correct Slay icon in-game instead of a generic trigger icon.
- Fixed a bug where playing a Silenced unit would not trigger Inspire effects.

A buff and revision to an enchant that people have been interested in for some time, Vapors now applies +2 health to the character it is removed from, letting it more directly interact with the unit it is attached to, and allowing it to place a larger focus on controlling the board with units, rather than simply gaining a ton of health on your hero. This change should allow vapors to be a more dynamic and interesting Enchant than it was previously.

We fell a bit short of the mark in our buffs to the dragons last month, so we’re pushing a number of them further this time to make them more powerful finishers. In Tiamat’s case, we have moved three of her power into health, giving her a 6/12 statline that can take a lot more punishment, and added the ability for her Effect to dust the enemies it destroys, which should give it far more utility.

As such, we’ve decided to rework a few cards that reduce cost proportionally to the elements in your grave. Meng’Long now gains stats based on the elements in your grave, a more fair version of its prior effect, as it can still become bigger than its cost should allow, but its cost remains fixed at 7.

A major goal for us has been revising cards that offer unreasonable cost reductions that enable early-game power spikes. Historically, Magnanimous was always either a poor card or a problematic one, often supporting strategies that were frustrating and uninteractive, so we’ve revised it to support Intellect’s subtheme of enabling high-cost spells in a manner that mirrors the Strength Prism’s Chromeosaur.
